ok.... GO!

So I know its been a while since my last post.. Ive been neglectful again. Ah but it seems that this blog needs little food and water, so in spite of my bad parenting to it, it has somehow managed to survive. So... here I am to nourish it.

Things have been going well since my last post nothing too exciting to boast about. Same stuff blah blah blah same boring routine. I think the only thing worth mentioning (so far) is our dogs' great escape. They decided that they were going to bolt out the door as soon as it was cracked an inch, with no desire to look back. I guess they got into someones yard and killed two chickens.. And now because of that we have to go to the county courthouse and pay fines blahdeeblah blah... Stupid dogs.. hope it was worth it! They'll be lucky if they ever get to go outside without a leash again!

We have an upcoming trip to wendover planned so theres something to look forward to. Lets hope tylers work cooperates and gives him the one day off that he needs(crossing fingers) because if not... I'll be royaly ticked...

On a different note... HALLOWEEN! Its coming soon! Can I tell you how fun it is to see how excited Auralie is when we explain it to her. She picked out her costume (you will not know what until halloween... its to cute to spoil) but she is super excited about it and wants to put it on at least once a day.. :) Heres hoping that I will be able to get work off and take her trick or treating!

well... Im about out of words.. today is a dull day for my mind.. I cant think of anything else to share so, until next time, thanks for reading!

I'm a Slacker!

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog (it's no secret I have been) but I can at least give myself credit for posting on it again, and not letting it die (like my first blogging attempt [RIP "other" blog] )

Its been an eventful month since I last shared, so I figured I might as well get it out of the way :) because otherwise my next post would have been too long and boring! So here goes.

Tyler started his new job, which by the way, he loves. I can tell he is a lot happier with this one and he actually looks forward to going to work now. Can I also say that he looks mighty good in his uniform? (Of course I had to throw that in there.. what kind of wife would I be if I didn't?)

He almost looks like a cop when he has his vest and his gun on his belt! Kind of nifty eh? It does scare me that he has to carry a firearm for this job, but the likely hood of him having to use it is small, so that gives me a little bit of reassurance that hes not going to die! :)

I switched to part time status at my job which has been great. So what that means for me is only three days a week that I have to worry about working, and I absolutely love it. I have more time to be a mom and a housewife. I can actually cook my hubby a meal instead of him getting home and having to make ME something. I can do house work during the day instead of being on the phone from 11am to 8pm. SOOOOOO SOOOOOO happy about this new work schedule :)

Tyler had the day off yesterday so Auralie got to spend the whole day with Mommy AND Daddy. She was thrilled! Tyler's grandparents gave her a little bird house (which she calls her 'bird castle house') so we helped her paint it all sorts of fun colors!

I am so excited to spend more time with my family weather it be a lazy day that we just relax and lounge on the couch, or a crafty day like yesterday. The point of it all is I get to be with them and nothing could make me happier!

Time to Celebrate

Blogging today about the love of my life Tyler Shawn

Insert cheesy photo here ->

Today is Ty's birthday so I though it would be appropriate to talk about how much I love him.

He is now 22 (old fart, thats half way to 44!) but he still acts like he's 12 :) and I am very very happy to say that I get to spend my life with this guy. He is the most loving caring person I have ever met and I dont know how I got so lucky to be stuck with him!

We both have to work today so unfortunately the big birthday bash has been postponed but I am (planning on) making a nice dinner and (of course) birthday cake for him tomorow and of course I'll post pictures, but for now all he gets is a
'Happy birthday babe, I love you'
( Oh, and dont forget his new Ke$ha cd )
=]

Glad I get to share his many years to come with him!
I love you Ty

Auralie Nicole

So today I am deciding to blog about my beautiful daughter Auralie. She makes my days so much brighter just by being around. There are countless ways she makes me laugh and smile. I love her more then words can explain!

Lately this little bundle of joy has been on a tangent of movie quotes from her favorite shows. Every day I hear something new weather it be from 'Princess and the Frog'(todays movie of choice) 'Dispicable Me' or 'Horton Hears a Who'. Along with the movie quotes she says the most random funny things that you wouldnt expect to hear from a two year old like 'Shut the front door' or 'Shoosh your mouth' (said while covering mom/dads mouth with her hands)&'Not now mom im busy'(usually said while sitting on her potty chair).

There are SOOOOO many random, funny, priceless moments that I just want to remember forever, and I know there will be so many more to come! I am just so blessed with the opportunity to ba a mother to this sweet little child and I couldnt imagine anything that could make me happier then that!

The Beginning

Well I attepmpted a blog before, and it was an epic fail. I posted on it once and never looked at it again! So... hopefully this blog's life will surpass that of my last.
So here is to the beginning of a new blogging attempt, the beginning of new adventures, and things to come. I felt the beginning was a proper title for this post, even though our life together began over two years ago, but, we have so many new opportunities coming our way that it feels right to address it.
Tyler is applying for a new job(cross your fingers that he gets it) and I am switching to part time to have more time to be 'Mom'... go to school? Scrapbooking? Home renovation? so many things that I haven't had the time to do that, come August, I will be able to pursue.
Hopefully these adjustments will bring good things our way, and if not...well it's something to work through and build our relationship even stronger then it is. So send us your good vibes and let's hope that this new beginning is a good one!(And that I can make this blog last! :D )
